Our Story
Anese & Associates is a Black woman-owned firm founded by Jaimie Lewis, a widowed mother of five who is dedicated to community centered change.

Drawing on years of grant consulting experience and a deep understanding of underserved communities, Jaimie launched the firm to ensure those driving change receive the support they deserve. Our mission is simple. Disrupt outdated grant-making by centering clients’ voices in fund development, writing, readiness, management, and funder engagement.

For us, the people at the center of the work should be the voices guiding change.
